Before hiring any contractor you want to be aware of who you are inviting into your home and/or business. Here is a brief list of questions you should ask all contractors before hiring.

- Do they offer a warranty?
- Can the company provide references?
- Do they have a portfolio of past jobs?
- Do they keep the work place clean?
- What paint do they use? Are they quality products?
- How much time will be spent on prepping the surface before painting?
- Are they insured? Licensed?
- Who will be working in their home?
- Who signs off on the completed job?
If you are not comfortable with any of the answers your painting contractor is providing, they are most likely not the painter you are looking for!
Are your rates competitive?
Yes. When we quote a job we include the prep work to prepare the work surface, the materials, quality paint, and the finished project. Do you provide quotes over the phone?
No. At Lauro Painting, we will come to the job site to review the entire project. A successful project does not end with just hiring a contractor to show up and paint walls or remove wallpaper. Do you hire outside contractors or ‘sub-contractors’?
No. When hiring a contractor, often times you meet the owner and a ‘sub-contractor’ will show up at your door. At Lauro Painting, we pride ourselves in the reputation of being a family run business and we put our family name behind all our work. A member of the Lauro team will be on-site at your property to ensure the job is completed to our satisfaction.
What type of paint do you use? Why?
With over 20 years of painting experience we have come to know and understand quality paint. It does make a difference when selecting the right brand. The other combination would include primer and the type of finish.
Lauro Painting prefers Sherwin-Williams Premium Paint products and finishes, however, we have and will use other brands as requested by the client or the project needs.
