Small Paint Projects that can Improve Your Home
November 12, 2020Are your painter’s employees or do you use subcontractors? Lauro Painting ONLY employs full-time employees who are covered under our Workman’s compensation plan and Liability insurance.
Do you have a dedicated person in charge of my project who will be onsite everyday? At Lauro Painting, we designate a foreman to be 100% in charge of your project. You will receive our team member’s contact information ahead of your start date. Your foreman will be in contact through the entire process along with our office manager and owner. Our foreman will complete the initial and final walkthrough with you.
How do you and I communicate while the project is in process? We like to communicate through our online portal for your project. On your online job folder, our owner, office manager, and foreman will all be able to communicate with you. This ensures questions are answered immediately.
How much prep work will be done to our surfaces? You have heard it before, prep work is the most important part of painting. Our standards may be different than other painting companies. You should expect surfaces to be properly sanded, cleaned, and repaired to ensure your new paint looks like a professional completed it. Make sure you set a clear expectation with your salesperson on what you would like addressed.
What products do you use? Lauro Painting prefers Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paint products. Make sure to ask other painting companies which products they specifically use. Wall paint is not always created equal. Make sure they use a quality product that is designed to perform well in your space.
What time should I expect your painters everyday? Most companies work from 8am to 4pm. Lauro painting painters typically do not work weekends. We begin sharply at 8am and usually begin to wrap our day up at 4pm. We will always remain flexible for our clients. Just let us know if there are preferred start to finish times each day.
Will we have a final walkthrough with you? Final walkthroughs are important to make sure your expectations are met. Sometimes our clients are not always available for a final walkthrough. We will give you advance notice to ensure we can agree on a time to meet. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your painting project.
